Student Summer Camp
USIEC is a nonpolitical cultural organization offering an educational, fun and meaningful cultural exchange at our English language training and summer camp. Our summer programs are 2 weeks in length and specifically tailored to meet the needs of high school students from 15 to 17 years old who are interested in learning about American culture and the United States college experience. The Program are coed for both boys and girls.
Our mission is to promote a cross-cultural awareness between people from various countries and provide an enriched cultural experience. The program consists of daily English instruction in the morning taught by our ESL teachers. The rest of the afternoons and evening activities are full of fun and games, visiting local colleges and universities, museums, excursions to Disneyland, Universal Studios, San Francisco and other site seeing activities. Most important the students live with “host” families from the United States where they meet, learn and enjoy new and lasting relationships with American families. Our goal is to provide a safe, educational and fun environment in order to learn and share thoughts and feelings with other students and families. It has been our experience that this opportunity has provided a valuable appreciation and opportunity for each student to meet new friends and enhance their life experiences that will last them forever.
